1959 Cadillac Coupe deVille. The attached photos illustrate the underside of the roof being cleaned and prepared for new insulation. Once the original headlining was removed from the area to gain access we installed the heat protection insulation to the headlining inside the roof panel. We have an electric heat lamp with concentrated heat heating the section of the roof. When you put your hand on the unprotected area the metal is hot; you move your hand over more to where the insulation is it is cool. It keeps the car cool in the summer months as well as reduces outside sound noises.
